Attorney John P. Winicov has been practicing personal injury law for over 20 years. In that time, he has represented hundreds of injured people in complex personal injury matters. He has handled numerous wrongful death and survival cases, products liability, and medical malpractice cases. He has also obtained excellent results for people injured in auto accidents.

Mr. Winicov has represented injured individuals in Chester County, Delaware County, Montgomery County and Philadelphia County. He is a skilled negotiator with extensive trial experience who will go to the mat for his clients.

Criminal Defense

Attorney John P. Winicov has over 25 years of criminal defense experience. He served as an Assistant Public Defender in Chester County from 1987 to 1991. He also served as a court appointed attorney in Chester County, Philadelphia County and for the Federal District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Winicov has represented clients in serious criminal cases and misdemeanors. He has handled hundreds of Driving Under the Influence cases. Mr. Winicov has tried dozens of cases before judges and juries in Chester County. He has also had numerous judge and jury trials in Philadelphia and Delaware Counties.

Employee Rights

For 20 years Attorney John P. Winicov has protected the rights of unskilled laborers such as mushroom harvesters, landscapers, house painters, construction workers, housekeepers, custodians and others. He has represented laborers in their claims for unpaid wages, overtime pay and benefits. He has handled unemployment cases and workers compensation matters.

Mr. Winicov will often make payment plans or other arrangements to represent those who cannot afford his legal services. The client’s ability to pay a legal fee does not enter into his decision to represent the client.
